Following the win, Jordan celebrated at Disney World and was spotted wearing an unreleased Air Jordan 4 collaboration by Nigel Sylvester. The white colorway provides fans with the first comprehensive view of the upcoming sneaker. A teaser of a white pair emerged in January 2025 during a private Brick by Brick dinner, where Sylvester first showcased the project. Now, a second style appears to be nearing its official release.
From the prior Brick by Brick dinner, the earlier previews only showed a hint of the sneaker’s toe. The Disney World sighting, however, reveals more distinguishing details. Sylvester’s new colorway appears to reinterpret the classic Fire Red Air Jordan 4, featuring a white base leather upper accented with red and black. There are notable deviations from the original 1989 palette.
Key design touches include fully red support wings—a striking departure from the Fire Red’s typical black triangle—along with a cream-toned, pre-yellowing effect on the Bike Air-branded heel and hangtag, lending the shoe a vintage vibe. As with Sylvester’s other Air Jordan 4 collaborations, a small embroidered Swoosh sits near the toe.
Sylvester’s first Brick by Brick Air Jordan 4, released in March 2025, became one of the year’s most coveted collaborations thanks to in-person activations and a deliberate storytelling approach. The upcoming pair’s theme hasn’t been officially confirmed, but expectations suggest it will generate a similarly strong response.
The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Retro OG SP in Sail/Cinnabar is slated for a summer release, with May 9 currently floated as a target launch date—though final details are still to be announced.
