As the team hit the ice for practice on Wednesday in Milan, head coach Jon Cooper kept everyone guessing. Despite the anticipation, he didn't name a starting goalie for their opening game against Czechia.

Jordan Binnington, Darcy Kuemper, and Logan Thompson all got their chance to showcase their skills during practice. Binnington started in his usual spot, while Kuemper and Thompson shared the other net, with Kuemper later joining Binnington's end.
